Job summary

Innovo Global Talent seeks an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support automation upgrades and control system enhancements. You will commission PLC, HMI, drives, and networked control systems across customer sites, diagnosing issues and ensuring performance meets design specs.

This role requires hands-on work in live environments, strong communication with project managers and customers, and willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning industrial automation systems in manufacturing or logistics environments.
• Siemens S7 and TIA Portal experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of industrial networks, drives, electrical control systems, and fault-finding methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute FAT, SAT and performance validation for PLC, HMI, drives, and networked control systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while ensuring on-time project delivery.
• Produce commissioning documentation and maintain accurate project records.
