Job summary

LionHires Recruitment is seeking a Casino Compliance Manager to lead a six-person team and ensure regulatory standards are met across markets. This role bridges Casino Operations, QA, and Commercial teams, driving governance, certification, and safe deployment of live content.

You will scope new markets, implement safeguards for GSP reliability, lead incident investigations, own the Compliance Portal, and report risks to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in iGaming/online casino compliance, technical compliance, or QA, with proven experience managing and structuring teams.
• Deep understanding of global iGaming technical standards, game certification processes, and multi-market licensing requirements
• Ability to balance regulatory requirements with commercial business objectives, particularly during new market scoping and launch phases
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience investigating technical breaches, managing GSP outages, and handling regulatory mitigation or player compensation processes
• Demonstrated success in mapping, analysing, and improving operational or QA workflows
• Experience overseeing or contributing to the development of internal tools, databases, or portals
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to govern multiple market rollouts and game releases simultaneously
• Exceptional ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable operational steps for QA, Commercial, and Casino Ops teams

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor a team consisting of one Team Lead and five compliance/QA specialists
• Lead the compliance scoping for new market entries, establishing foundational operating procedures and actively supporting the Commercial team to ensure business expansion aligns with regulatory constraints
• Serve as the primary liaison between Casino Operations and the QA department to guarantee seamless communication and workflow alignment
• Oversee the end-to-end go-live process for casino games, ensuring that all live content is fully certified, tested, and adheres to license requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust safeguards to protect the business against GSP failures, downtime, or compliance shortcomings
• Lead deep-dive investigations into compliance breaches, GSP incidents, or technical failures and manage player compensation calculations and regulatory reports
• Continuously evaluate and optimize QA workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy in game testing
• Establish governance frameworks across all market operations to ensure agility and compliance with multi-jurisdiction regulations
• Own the internal Compliance Portal, ensuring it serves as a central source of truth for certifications, market rules, and QA tracking
• Provide regular updates and risk assessments to Head of Regulated Casino and VP Casino
• Regularly evaluate compliance software and systems to ensure effectiveness and alignment with industry standards
• Identify and automate repetitive compliance tasks to reduce errors and boost productivity
• Bake compliance requirements into new digital products and workflows
• Leverage data analytics and AI to monitor anomalies and regulatory compliance
