Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an Aviation Master Planning Director based in the UK (London/Madrid hub) to lead high-profile airport planning projects globally. You will guide airfield, terminal and capacity analyses, and mentor multidisciplinary teams across offices, including travel to client sites.

You will bring world-class experience in aviation, strong leadership, and a passion for sustainable, deliverable outcomes, while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring high-quality proposals.

Qualifications

• World class airport master planning experience.
• Fluency in English; additional languages valued.
• Chartership or fellowship aligned with professional institution preferred.
• Extensive leadership of airport master planning projects at major international airports.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead airport master planning projects across terminals, airfield, landside and capacity analysis.
• Coordinate and manage planning tasks, proposals, and client relationships.
• Develop and train junior staff and grow senior members of staff.
• Travel overseas for assignments as required.
• Represent Mott MacDonald in client and stakeholder meetings.
