Job summary

Greenjets Limited in Wolverton is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and monitor the transportation of aviation components, with a focus on on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

You will work with suppliers, warehouses, maintenance teams and transport providers to ensure materials are delivered accurately and on schedule, while maintaining records and supporting compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination role.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Experience using inventory management, logistics, or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments of aircraft parts, tools, and operational supplies.
• Track deliveries and monitor shipment progress to ensure timely arrival.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, courier services, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and inventory records.
• Manage stock movements and coordinate inventory replenishment activities.
• Support aircraft maintenance teams by ensuring critical parts are available when required.
• Resolve transportation, customs, or delivery issues quickly and effectively.
• Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, aviation regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records within logistics and inventory management systems.
• Generate reports and provide updates on logistics performance and key metrics.
