Job summary

Gamit Ltd, an established aviation consultancy near Stansted Airport, is seeking a motivated Materials Administrator to support the sale and supply of aircraft spare parts globally. You will respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders and coordinate deliveries with shipping agents and colleagues worldwide.

Experience in administration, customer service or logistics is valued. On-the-job training will be provided, with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 systems in place.

Qualifications

• Confident and professional telephone and email manner.
• Strong customer-service skills and a genuine desire to find the right solution for each customer.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several enquiries and orders at the same time.
• Strong attention to detail when preparing quotations, processing orders and maintaining records.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for customers interested in purchasing aircraft spare parts from AMAC Group stock.
• Respond professionally to customer enquiries received by telephone and email.
• Prepare quotations and help provide customers with the best available service and solution for their requirements.
• Process purchase requests, purchase orders, sales orders, exchange orders and repair orders accurately.
• Monitor and expedite open purchase and repair orders to help achieve on-time delivery.
• Keep customers updated on the progress of their enquiries and orders.
• Coordinate with shipping agents when required to support the timely delivery of aircraft parts.
