Job summary

Aspora is seeking a Global MLRO to lead the compliance backbone of our rapidly expanding fintech platform. You will define a scalable AML framework spanning multiple markets, work with the Head of Fincrime and COO, and determine where the business can move fast while maintaining strict standards.

You will build a high-performing global Fincrime team, shape product governance, and establish playbooks and training to ensure decisions are embedded in the product and operations.

Qualifications

• You've navigated AML and financial crime across payments, remittance, banking or fintech.
• You turn regulatory requirements into customer journeys or decision frameworks that teams can use.
• You've built AML frameworks, automated controls or led high-performing compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Set the global AML standard across markets and products.
• Build one practical approach to risk that enables fast, compliant product launches.
• Make risk decisions visible with clear frameworks and owner assignments.
• Represent AML in regulatory interactions and lead independent audits.
• Develop playbooks, trainings and controls to scale the function.
