Job summary

AJ FOX COMPLIANCE, a major international law firm, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join its Belfast team. You will facilitate smooth client and matter inception procedures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance across the firm's global network.

The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on experience in onboarding, risk or compliance within a law firm, with a solid AML/CDD background and strong written and verbal communication to engage internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in client onboarding, risk, or compliance in a law firm.
• Solid grounding in AML regulations and customer due diligence.
• Strong written and verbal communication to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day client onboarding workflows with AML compliance.
• Conduct customer due diligence and identity verification checks.
• Perform risk assessments, sanctions checks, and PEP/adverse media monitoring.
• Liaise with fee earners and internal teams to gather verification documents.
• Maintain accurate client and matter records in risk/case management software.
• Support ongoing client monitoring and compliance reporting across offices.
• Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding and improve efficiency.
