Job summary

Warwick Business School is seeking an enthusiastic Alumni Community Officer to support the Global Alumni Community Manager in delivering an engaging, connected and inclusive alumni volunteer experience across Warwick Business School's global alumni network.

The role involves developing and growing vibrant alumni volunteer communities, coordinating with volunteers and regional leaders, and evaluating programmes to strengthen relationships and participation across the school’s programs.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of alumni community projects, campaigns, events and engagement initiatives across global regions and professional networks.
• Work with alumni, volunteers, students and internal stakeholders to understand community preferences, requirements and emerging trends, ensuring programmes and activities remain relevant and impactful.
• Support the rollout, promotion and ongoing optimisation of the School's digital community platform, embedding it as a key engagement tool and encouraging active participation across alumni audiences.
• Gather, analysing and presenting data, feedback and community insights to inform decision making, monitor engagement performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Develop audience-focused communications and promotional activities, including digital marketing initiatives and social media engagement, working closely with Marketing and Communications colleagues.
• Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns, platform adoption and community engagement activities, evaluating outcomes and recommending improvements.
• Prepare stakeholder briefings, presentations and reports, translating community feedback and engagement data into clear recommendations and actionable insights.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external partners and volunteer leaders to deliver projects, events and community programmes successfully and efficiently.
• Support the management of alumni relationship data and CRM systems, ensuring information remains accurate, compliant and useful for reporting, engagement and strategic planning purposes.
• Act as a key point of contact for alumni, volunteers and community stakeholders, delivering a professional, responsive and relationship-focused service.
• Work with colleagues to develop and implement innovative approaches that encourage networking, mentoring, volunteering and peer-to-peer support within the global alumni community.
