Job summary

University of Southampton is seeking a senior stakeholder engagement lead to direct a four‑person team within the Office of Development & Alumni Relations. You will design and deliver high‑impact engagement programmes across alumni and supporters, supporting student recruitment, employability and philanthropy.

You will shape international engagement in key countries, represent alumni engagement on cross‑university groups, and travel internationally about once or twice a year in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Experience building relationships with alumni, supporters, volunteers or similar groups.
• Track record delivering engagement programmes with measurable outcomes.
• Strong leadership and people development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a four‑person team across ODAR and the wider University.
• Identify opportunities and deliver high‑impact engagement programmes.
• Support campaigns, brand initiatives and international engagement activities.
