Job summary

ALS Recruiting Ltd is seeking an Air & Sea Freight Operations Coordinator in Felixstowe. The role involves overseeing shipments end-to-end, negotiating with carriers, and ensuring compliant documentation and processes. You will act as the primary liaison for clients, tracking progress and resolving delays.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of import experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of Incoterms, with a focus on timely, cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in air or ocean imports.
• End-to-end import processes including customs procedures and documentation.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and their application in import operations.
• Customer Focus and Time Management: deliver excellent service and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee air and sea freight shipments from origin to destination.
• Secure competitive carrier agreements while balancing cost and service.
• Prepare and review bills of lading, customs declarations, and transport contracts.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively inform clients.
• Collaborate with customs brokers to ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
