Job summary

Boston Consulting Group seeks an AI Strategy & Portfolio Senior Manager to shape and govern a cross‑PA AI asset portfolio. You’ll translate business priorities into a clear AI product portfolio, aligning with PA leaders, DPMs, and BCG X moonshots to create firm‑level value.

You’ll lead governance, portfolio performance metrics, and investment trade‑offs, reporting to PSL and partnering with CPO to drive coherent strategy across PA offers and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience, ideally combining a consulting or professional services background with hands-on product management expertise.
• Relevant domain expertise for the portfolio.
• Experience contributing to management of a portfolio of AI-powered offers, with accountability for investment decisions and performance outcomes.
• Solid understanding of product lifecycle management from ideation to scale, pivot, and sunset.
• Familiarity with PA structures, offer management, and client economics.
• MBA or similar Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define the portfolio vision and strategic guardrails for all agentic assets under remit.
• Establish and enforce governance standards, including stage-gate criteria for build, scale, pivot, and sunset decisions.
• Identify and enable synergies and consolidation opportunities across products/offers/PAs.
• Balance the portfolio across maturity, innovation, and reuse potential.
• Advise on buy‑or‑build decisions and prepare funding and prioritization trade‑offs.
• Maintain transparency and provide insights on portfolio performance, risks, and ROI with stakeholders.
