Job summary

Boston Consulting Group seeks a Lead AI Tech Architect to guide core banking transformations and define IT strategies. You will shape architectures, secure buy-in, and collaborate with fellow BCGers to drive performance for financial services clients.

You will lead larger, technical modules, mentor junior teammates, and contribute to business development and Practice Area growth at BCG.

Qualifications

Ten-plus years as an architect in financial services.
Experience designing modern architectures with scalability, resilience, observability and security.
Strong integration architecture knowledge: REST APIs, event-driven patterns.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, IaC and platform engineering.
Experience defining target architectures and roadmaps for large programmes.
Managing architectural debt and driving technology evolution.
Thought leadership and leading teams of architects.
Balancing strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery.
Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve design and productivity.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering; TOGAF and cloud cert desirable.
