Job summary

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer leading GenAI and AI-driven product initiatives in London. The role combines hands-on backend/API development with leadership, coaching, and system thinking across squads.

You will build secure APIs, integrate LLMs, and drive DevOps practices while shaping the technical strategy for scalable AI-powered solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong backend/API expertise using Python (FastAPI or Flask).
• Experience building AI-enabled products and integrating LLMs into services.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure cloud-native architectures with AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and mentor engineers within the squad, acting as a player-coach.
• Architect and deliver secure, scalable APIs and services that integrate with LLMs and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Champion DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality assurance across squads.
• Drive adoption of AI tooling and GenAI capabilities, shaping system-level tradeoffs and roadmap.
• Communicate with stakeholders and lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure delivery.
