Job summary

Alexander Faraday Recruitment is seeking a Technical Trainer for the Defence sector. The role involves delivering technical maintenance training to military customers across the UK and internationally, combining classroom and hands-on sessions on highly specialised aerospace equipment.

You will travel regularly to military bases, adapt training materials, and answer technical questions while working with engineering and field service teams to support customers worldwide.

Qualifications

Hands-on aerospace, aviation, military or defence engineering experience.
The ability to understand technical procedures and engineering drawings.
Experience using engineering tools and test equipment.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Confidence dealing with experienced technical customers.
A willingness to travel regularly, including internationally.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical and practical maintenance training to military customers.
Travel to UK and international military bases to deliver training.
Demonstrate maintenance, servicing, testing and overhaul procedures.
Prepare and adapt training materials, presentations and assessments.
Answer technical questions and support customers with problem solving.
Work alongside engineering and field service teams where required.
