Forces Recruitment Solutions Group Ltd is seeking a Field Services Engineer to deliver complex engineering work, provide technical expertise, and support capability development across varied deployments. You will install and maintain radar, RF sensor systems, and CUAS technologies while travelling regularly to customer sites, including overseas assignments.

You will lead testing and calibration, diagnose faults, and mentor junior engineers within a Defence context.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of radar, RF theory and sensor systems.
• Experience with installation, configuration, calibration, testing and maintenance of complex systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel including overseas deployments.
• Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex faults independently.
• Knowledge of networking, IP configuration and system integration.
• Interest or experience in UAS.
• IT proficiency including Microsoft Office.

Job description

A specialist defence solutions provider is seeking a Field Services Engineer to deliver complex engineering work, provide technical expertise and support the development of the team's capabilities. The Field Services Engineer will have a strong understanding of radar, RF theory and sensor systems, as well as have strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and integrated systems with experience in installing and maintaining this type of product. In addition, the Field Services Engineer will have a full UK driving licence, be able to obtain UK SC, and have a good knowledge of networking, IP configuration and system integration.

• Good understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities and emerging technologiesIT proficiency including Microsoft Office and relevant technical tools
• Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing and able to travel regularly to customer and operational sites, including overseas deployments
• Be able to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (SC)
• Participate in an on-call rota, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Salary:

£40,000
