Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking an experienced Glazing and Cladding Estimator to join the Oak Facades unit. Based in Leicester or Uxbridge, you will manage the estimating process from enquiry to tender submission for refurbishment, remediation, heritage restoration and fire safety projects across London and the Midlands.

You will review drawings, specifications, and schedules, produce detailed cost plans, and build strong relationships with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Estimator role within a pre-construction environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical information, drawings and specifications.
• Experience with refurbishment/remediation or compliance-led projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Produce pricing for complex refurbishment and fire safety projects.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and value engineering.
