Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking an experienced Glazing and Cladding Estimator to join our Pre-Construction team. You will handle the estimating process from enquiry to tender submission, delivering competitive, robust proposals for refurbishment, heritage restoration and fire safety projects across London and the Midlands.

You will review drawings, specifications and schedules, develop detailed cost plans, and build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to drive value engineering and

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator in a pre-construction environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and tender submissions.
• Review technical documentation including drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Produce comprehensive pricing for refurbishment, remediation and compliance-led works.
• Develop and maintain relationships with specialist subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Identify and assess commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Support bid strategy, programme planning and client presentations.
• Collaborate with delivery teams for a smooth handover after award.
