Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Facade & Cladding Estimator in Leicester to support a growing specialist contractor. The role focuses on preparing detailed cost estimates and competitive tenders for façade and cladding packages across large commercial and residential projects.

You will review drawings and tender documentation, perform material take-offs, and analyse supplier quotations to support accurate pricing and value engineering decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating facades, rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, or building envelope systems.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel or estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for façade and cladding systems.
• Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Completing material take-offs and pricing project packages.
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of tender proposals.
• Identifying value engineering opportunities and potential project risks.
