Job summary

Anderson Wright Consulting is supporting a long-established home care provider in Glasgow to recruit a Homecare Coordinator to assist the Care Manager with day-to-day coordination and service delivery.

The role covers care plans, staff rotas, quality monitoring, policy development, inspections preparation and on-call duties. It is full-time (37.5 h/wk) with a £29,000 basic salary, on-site parking, pension and a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• SSSC registration is essential.
• SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or working towards it.
• Proven experience coordinating care staff, rotas and schedules.
• Experience in a regulated care environment.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day running of the homecare service, including care plans, staff rotas and rotas.
• Coordinate and support care staff to ensure appropriate levels of cover.
• Monitor quality of care and conduct regular reviews and evaluations.
• Assist with development, implementation and review of service policies and procedures.
• Support the Care Manager with inspections, audits and external visits.
• Ensure actions are followed through and records are maintained.
• Assist with staff performance, training and compliance.
• Respond to operational issues and support care staff as needed.
• Participate in rotational on-call service with additional pay.
• Travel to Glasgow Southside head office as required.
