Job summary

Call-In Homecare Limited in Scotland is seeking an experienced Homecare Coordinator to manage care packages, rosters, and service visits across East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire and Renfrewshire. You will liaise with referrals, schedule visits, and support frontline staff while participating in out-of-hours on-call.

The role offers full-time hours (37.5 per week), a salary of £27,300 per annum plus on-call payments, weekly pay, pension and mileage allowance, and generous benefits to

• Experience as a Care Coordinator in Health & Social Care preferred but not essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to manage and maintain high quality care service.
• Willing to drive and travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with local authority referrals team to match new packages of care
• Set up of service users' package of care on the rostering system (People Planner)
• Scheduling of service users' care visits
• Scheduling of Homecare's working schedules
• Communicating with frontline staff about service delivery
• Taking part in the branch office's out of hours on-call
• Communicating and reporting effectively with/to the Service Manager and colleagues

We are currently recruiting a Homecare Coordinator for our Wets of Scotland services. The successful applicant will have a track record in delivering high quality care at home services, be an excellent communicator with a focus on creating positive outcomes of colleagues, staff and service users.

Ideally, the candidate will have a good geographical knowledge of East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire and Renfrewshire, experience with electronic rostering systems and the effective scheduling of service users' care plans and Home carers' working rotas.

Please note there is an on-call requirement for this post, which attracts additional payments to your basic salary.

Ideally, the candidate will have;

• Highly motivated, ambitious and passionate about providing high quality care services
• Previous experience as a Care Coordinator in a Health & Social Care setting is preferred but not essential
• Proven ability to manage and maintain a dynamic & excellent quality care service
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Exceptional leadership and team working skills
• A valid driving license and own transport
• Good geographical knowledge of East & West Dunbartonshire and Renfrewshire
• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards it
