Armstrong Watson LLP in Glasgow seeks a Business Services Director to lead our growing Practice and manage client relationships, fees, and performance across a portfolio of services.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage and develop a team to meet objectives.
• Experience building long-term client relationships and cross-service referrals.
• Understanding of UK taxes, statutory accounting, and GAAP practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings without a Business Services Partner.
• Act as Relationship Manager for a designated client portfolio.
• Raise and approve fees for own portfolio.
• Set objectives for direct reports and monitor progress.
• Oversee performance against objectives and KPIs, provide feedback.
• Sign off accounts and statutory documents where allowed by law.
• Develop professional contacts to generate new business.
• Support recruitment and people-related activities within the team.
