Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to join the Glasgow team on a temporary basis to cover long-term sickness absence. The role supports daily site operations, ensuring a safe, efficient and welcoming workplace for staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will oversee health and safety inspections, manage on-site contractors, coordinate maintenance and mailroom duties, and support meeting room arrangements with an immediate start in a central Glasgow location.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management or Building Management.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and compliance.
• Experience managing contractors and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and safety inspections and ensure compliance.
• Supervise on-site contractors and ensure safe works.
• Monitor reactive maintenance and SLAs.
• Coordinate deliveries and site logistics.
• Manage mailroom operations and front-of-house services.
• Support meeting room and event space setups.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, compliant environment.
• Investigate and resolve facilities-related issues as needed.
