Job summary

Regency Facilities Management is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the effective delivery and ongoing development of our facilities management services across Scotland. This hands-on role requires close collaboration with the Operations Manager, ensuring service standards, client satisfaction and strong team performance.

You will assist with day-to-day staff management, client liaison, KPIs, and the mobilisation of new contracts while identifying opportunities to expand

Qualifications

• Experience supervising operational teams in facilities services.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and costs.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day delivery of facilities management services across Scotland.
• Act as a point of management support for supervisors and operatives.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients through regular communication and site visits.
• Monitor KPIs, contract performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee recruitment, induction, training and development of staff.
• Plan mobilisation of newly awarded contracts and bid support.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and grow client accounts.
• Promote safe working practices and compliance with health and safety controls.
