Join us as a GIS Technician at Kier Construction

Location: Birmingham

Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Managing highway asset information using GIS and asset management systems within the Birmingham highways contract.
• Analyzing and capturing highways asset maintenance data from various sources, georeferencing, and digitizing map data.
• Semi-automating cartographic workflows and producing data visualization reports to support decision-making.
• Providing GIS expertise, training, and support to team members.
• Undertaking condition surveys of highway assets using specialized equipment.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, data capture, digitization, and data management tools.
• Strong reporting, mapping, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
