Job summary

Proofpoint is a global leader in cybersecurity. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our DACH sales initiative from the UK, generating qualified sales opportunities through a mix of inbound and outbound activities.

You will work with regional sales and marketing to understand accounts, gather intelligence, and connect influencers with our sales team. A proven track record in outbound prospecting, strong phone skills, and CRM experience help you succeed in

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales accepted leads and respond to product inquiries.
• Gather actionable intelligence (competition, projects, purchase intent) for assigned accounts.
• Follow-up on leads generated by marketing and convert initial interest into sales accepted leads.
• Manage email campaigns to generate new sales prospects.
• Manage cold-calling campaigns to generate new sales prospects.
• Schedule demonstrations between the Sales team and potential customers.
