Job summary

Advancing People Ltd, based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, is recruiting a German Speaking Sales Support Advisor for an international distributor of premium products. You will join a growing Customer Service team supporting German and English-speaking customers, handling queries and ensuring an outstanding after-sales journey.

The role offers a full-time permanent position with a basic salary of £30,000 plus a 13% bonus, plus opportunities to develop product knowledge while delivering excellent

Qualifications

• Fluency in German.
• Previous experience in customer service, after-sales support or a similar customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, organised approach with the ability to take ownership of customer enquiries.
• A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience in a technical support, manufacturing or product-based environment, with CRM/case management familiarity is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-sales support to German and English-speaking customers via telephone, email and messaging.
• Manage warranty claims, spare parts requests and aftercare enquiries from initial contact through to resolution.
• Liaise with internal technical and logistics teams to resolve product and delivery issues.
• Support communication between German-speaking customers and internal departments, including translation where required.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all cases are followed up promptly.
• Identify recurring customer issues and contribute ideas to improve service and processes.
