Job summary

ABL Recruitment in London Victoria is seeking a German-speaking People Operations Executive for a fixed-term contract (6-12 months). The role is hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days home) and offers £48,000–£52,000 per year.

You will manage end-to-end monthly German payroll, support German employees with payroll and HR queries, and oversee onboarding/offboarding and lifecycle processes, working with payroll providers to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
• Experience processing German payroll.
• Knowledge of German employment legislation and payroll regulations.
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding employees.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end monthly German payroll processes.
• Supporting German employees with payroll, benefits and HR-related queries.
• Administering onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
• Working closely with payroll and benefits providers.
• Ensuring payroll and HR compliance with German regulations.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Supporting process improvements and operational efficiencies.
