Job summary

ABL Recruitment in London Victoria is seeking a German-speaking People Operations Executive for a fixed-term contract (6-12 months). The role is hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days home) and offers £48,000–£52,000 per year.

You will manage end-to-end monthly German payroll, support German employees with payroll and HR queries, and oversee onboarding/offboarding and lifecycle processes, working with payroll providers to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
• Experience processing German payroll.
• Knowledge of German employment legislation and payroll regulations.
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding employees.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Salary – £48,000 – £52,000

We’re working with a fast-growing international business who are looking for a German-speaking People Operations Executive to join their People team on a fixed-term basis.

This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting German payroll and employee lifecycle processes, who enjoys working in a detail-focused environment and takes pride in delivering an excellent employee experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing end-to-end monthly German payroll processes
• Supporting German employees with payroll, benefits and HR-related queries
• Administering onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle processes
• Working closely with payroll and benefits providers
• Ensuring payroll and HR compliance with German regulations
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Supporting process improvements and operational efficiencies

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Experience processing German payroll
• Knowledge of German employment legislation and payroll regulations
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding employees

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of processes

Nice to Have
