Job summary

Bachy Soletanche in Sizewell, UK, is seeking an on-site project manager to lead geotechnical construction on a major infrastructure project. You will coordinate commercial and technical aspects, manage budgets, liaise with clients, suppliers, and labour, and ensure safety and quality across CFA, LDA and pile design activities.

The role requires rigour, experience with ITPs and RAMs, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CFA, LDA, Secant and support fluid piling techniques.
• Strong commercial awareness and budgeting ability.
• Good computing literacy and software familiarity.
• Basic understanding of geotechnics and pile design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• On-site management of projects covering technical administration and commercial aspects.
• Liaise with plant yard over costs and damages to keep within budget.
• Coordinate labour resources to ensure sufficient workforce on site.
• Prepare budgets and ensure accurate cost reporting and variance tracking.
• Maintain detailed site records and weekly progress reporting.
