Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD are seeking a Geotechnical Site Engineer to join Hungerford-based projects.

This fully site-based role delivers ground investigation works, supervises the field team, liaises with drilling crews, ensures safety and quality, and supports project delivery.

A strong background in ground investigation, willingness to travel, and full UK driving license are essential; company benefits include long-term progression and on-site logistics support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a ground investigation contractor.
• Experience supervising site investigations.
• Knowledge of boreholes, trial pits and in-situ testing.
• Strong health and safety awareness on site.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and stay away when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver ground investigation projects across the UK.
• Organise and oversee site investigation works to meet safety, time and specification.
• Liaise with drilling crews, subcontractors and project teams on site.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Manage site logistics, equipment and daily operations.
• Maintain effective communication between site teams and the office.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships on site.
• Support project delivery to meet quality standards and programmes.
