Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment are seeking a Geo Project Engineer to join their Geotechnical & Geo-Environmental team in Northamptonshire. You will manage geotechnical and geo-environmental projects, oversee site investigations and ensure delivery within budgets and timescales.

The role covers projects across commercial, industrial, automotive and residential sectors, working with national and international clients while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate consultancy experience.
• Experience with ground investigations and geotechnical design.
• Ability to supervise site investigations (boreholes, trial pits).
• Experience producing technical and interpretative reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical and geo-environmental projects from enquiry to completion, ensuring delivery within budgets and timescales.
• Undertake and supervise site investigations, including logging boreholes and trial pits.
• Carry out environmental monitoring and coordinate chemical contamination testing.
• Complete geotechnical design calculations, including foundations and earthworks.
• Prepare technical reports and ground investigation interpretative reports, ensuring standards compliance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
