Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Geotechnical Site Engineer for a Manchester-based role focused on site-based delivery of ground investigation works. This position emphasizes hands-on supervision with no office writing duties, overseeing projects from start to finish.

You should have 2-3 years' experience in a geotechnical contractor setting, strong health and safety knowledge, and a drive to travel for site assignments across the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience within a ground investigation contractor.
• Experience supervising or delivering site investigation works.
• Understanding of boreholes, trial pits and in-situ testing.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver ground investigation projects across the UK.
• Organise and oversee site investigation works to ensure safety and on-time completion.
• Liaise with drilling crews, subcontractors and project teams on site.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Manage site logistics, equipment and daily operations.
• Maintain effective communication between site teams and the office.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships on site.
• Support project delivery to achieve quality standards and programme requirements.
