Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment are seeking a Geo Project Engineer to join their Geotechnical & Geo-Environmental team in Northamptonshire. You will manage geotechnical and geo-environmental projects from enquiry through to completion, ensuring budgets and timescales are met.

The role requires a degree in Geology or related field and at least 5 years' post‑graduate consultancy experience in geotechnical engineering, with hands-on site investigations and strong report writing skills.

Qualifications

• Geotechnical or geo-environmental consultancy experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience.
• Experience delivering ground investigations.
• Proficiency with log boreholes and trial pits.
• Knowledge of geotechnical design and earthworks.
• Experience producing technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical and geo-environmental projects from enquiry to completion.
• Conduct site investigations and log trials pits and boreholes.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring and testing.
• Prepare and interpret ground investigation reports.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and authorities.
• Ensure QA procedures are followed.
