Job summary

Bachy Soletanche Limited, a world-leading geotechnical contractor, is seeking a Commercial professional to support project teams in recovering entitlements, managing cashflow, and forecasting accurately.

Responsibilities include preparing interim/final accounts, negotiating variations, client liaison, and monitoring budgets and programmes. A Quantity Surveying degree and 3+ years in Civil Engineering are preferred; RICS/ICES membership is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying with 3+ years post-qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Membership of RICS or ICES would be advantageous.
• Piling experience would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of JCT, NEC and ICE forms of contract.
• Ability to review contracts and negotiate amendments.
• Strong maths, IT skills and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support to recover entitlements and optimise cashflow.
• Prepare interim and final accounts and manage variations.
• Liaise with clients and attend meetings to facilitate payments.
• Monitor programmes and budgets and report variances.
• Ensure contracts are complied with and records are maintained.
• Support procurement, subcontracts and risk management.
• Work with Operations to identify commercial/performance issues early.
• Maintain consistency with Company commercial policies and procedures.
