Job summary

Matchtech is looking for a Trainee Field Technician in the United Kingdom to support geotechnical and geoenvironmental site investigations. The successful candidate will conduct site-based tests, collect and log data, and assist in report preparation under the direction of a Project Engineer. Applicants should have GCSEs or equivalent and a full UK driving licence. This role may also include physical duties and driving company vehicles as required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) or higher-level qualifications.
• Successful completion of internal induction and on-the-job training programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively.
• Full, clean UK driving licence (B+E towing licence advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Conduct site-based tests.
• Accurately collect and log site data.
• Assist in preparation of technical reports.
• Use design software for project documentation.
• Drive company vehicles as required.
