Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking several Geotechnical Site Investigation Engineers to support a large project, with a mid-January start. The roles involve providing geotechnical engineering support on site, supervising ground investigations, and collaborating with project teams to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will review technical information, site data and ground investigation results, record findings clearly, and contribute to site-based geotechnical works with a strong emphasis

Qualifications

• Experience in geotechnical engineering within infrastructure, construction or a related discipline.
• Experience in Rig Supervision, Logging and/or Trial Pitting.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, ground conditions and site investigation activities.
• Relevant industry certifications and site qualifications - SSSTS, CSCS, CAT&Genny, First Aid, Asbestos, Manual Handling.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a project and site-based environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety and technical compliance.

Responsibilities

• Providing geotechnical engineering support throughout the project.
• Monitoring ground conditions and supporting site-based geotechnical works.
• Reviewing technical information, site data and ground investigation results.
• Working collaboratively with project teams, contractors and site personnel.
• Ensuring geotechnical activities are completed safely, accurately and in line with project requirements.
• Preparing clear technical records and reporting findings where required.
