Job summary

Travail Employment Group has a field-based role across South Yorkshire, Doncaster operation. The Construction materials testing technician will carry out on-site sampling and in-situ testing of construction materials, working independently on live sites while representing the business professionally.

Typical duties include sampling, testing, data recording and liaising with site teams. Local work, overtime opportunities, and clear progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate technician with a year or two of experience or a lab technician moving to site work.
• Experience testing soils, asphalt, concrete or aggregate is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and strong client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• On-site sampling and in-situ testing of soils, asphalt, concrete and aggregates.
• Liaising with site managers, engineers and clients.
• Accurate recording, checking and reporting of test data.
