Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD in Glasgow is seeking a Geotechnical Site Engineer to supervise and deliver ground investigation projects across the UK. The role focuses on organizing field works, ensuring safety, timeliness and specification compliance on site.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years' experience with a ground investigation contractor, understands boreholes and in-situ testing, and holds a full UK driving licence. Travel and working away are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience with a ground investigation contractor.
• Experience supervising or delivering site investigation works.
• Knowledge of boreholes, trial pits and in-situ testing.
• Strong health and safety procedures on site.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and work away.
• Geotechnical-related qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver a variety of ground investigation projects across the UK.
• Organise and oversee site investigation works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to specification.
• Liaise with drilling crews, subcontractors and project teams on site.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Manage site logistics, equipment and daily operations.
• Maintain effective communication between site teams and the office.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships on site.
• Support project delivery to ensure quality standards and programme requirements are achieved.
