Job summary

PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer / Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a busy nationwide team. The role combines site, office and home working, delivering geotechnical, geo-environmental and ground investigation services to a broad client base.

You will analyse findings, produce factual and interpretive reports, supervise site operations and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with BS5930 and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences or related subject.
• Experience post-graduation with ground investigation techniques.
• Awareness of BS5930 and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyse findings and produce factual and interpretive reports.
• Complete in-situ testing and sampling.
• Produce reports based on site information and ground conditions.
• Manage site operatives and sub-contractors.
• Attend and deliver projects safely and on time.
• Organise intrusive investigations and manage subcontractors.
• Plan and schedule own workload with minimal supervision.
• Read site/project specifications and drawings.
