The role embraces a hybrid working pattern and offers development opportunities within a diverse range of engineering sectors. Applicants should have a minimum of one year in civil or geotechnical design, knowledge of Eurocodes, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year design experience in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Detailed knowledge of Eurocodes and current engineering codes of practice.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and have strong planning and organisation.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality geotechnical design as part of a project team.
• Ensure designs meet standards and are robust, value-based and commissionable.
• Ensure timely delivery and that the design meets the client’s brief.
• Inspect construction work and ensure correct implementation of designs.
• Monitor processes to ensure safety, legal and regulatory compliance.
• Assist at tender stage of projects.
