AECOM welcomes graduates in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology to join our Ground Engineering team in the UK&I, with opportunities across Belfast or Dublin. The role covers desk studies, site investigations, data interpretation and ground modelling, contributing to mixed infrastructure projects.

We offer a two-year Graduate Development Programme (GDP) and GEO Grounding training, with hybrid work and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology with 2:1 or higher.
• MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics/Geotechnical Engineering/Engineering Geology advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD/Civil 3D desirable.

Responsabilités

• Desk studies, site inspections, rockface surveys and geomorphological mapping.
• Design, planning and procurement of ground investigations.
• Supervision of ground investigation fieldwork.
• Geological interpretation and preparation of interpretative reports.
• Analysis of geotechnical data and development of ground models.
• Use of 2D/3D modelling tools and software for geotechnical design.
