Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Engineering Surveyor in London to join our project teams. You will define survey and geospatial needs, design accurate survey solutions and produce scopes, proposals, and estimates for geospatial services.

Role requires a degree in Geomatics/Surveying or related field, strong surveying background, and knowledge of BIM/Digital Engineering. A full UK driving licence is essential and a willingness to drive business growth is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Background in surveying, geomatics or geospatial work.
• Technical knowledge across control/set-out, topo, laser scanning, UAV, GIS, PAS128 mapping.

Responsibilities

• Define survey and geospatial needs with project teams.
• Design survey solutions balancing safety, practicality and cost.
• Produce scopes, proposals and estimates for geospatial services.
• Price and quote for geospatial services.
• Advise on survey methods, outputs and deliverables.
• Support bids, tenders and pre-construction planning.
• Coordinate survey crews to ensure accurate scope and delivery.
• Identify opportunities for new technology and workflows.
• Grow geomatics offering through business development.
• Stay up to date with survey standards and emerging tech.
