Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Surveyor in London & South East/Hertfordshire. This permanent role offers a salary of £45,000–£55,000 with bonus and car allowance.

You will work with project teams to define survey and geospatial needs, design survey solutions, and prepare scopes and estimates. A degree in Geomatics or related field is required, with MRICS or progress toward chartership preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or related field.
• Experience in surveying and geospatial work.
• MRICS, MCInstCES or equivalent, or working towards chartership; full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Define survey and geospatial needs with project teams.
• Design survey solutions balancing safety, practicality and cost.
• Produce scopes, technical proposals and fee estimates.
• Price and quote for geospatial services.
• Advise on survey methods, outputs and deliverables.
• Support bids, tenders and pre-construction planning.
• Coordinate survey crews to ensure proper scoping and delivery.
• Identify opportunities for new technology and smarter workflows.
• Help grow the geomatics offering and pursue new opportunities.
• Stay updated with survey standards and best practices.
