Job summary

Syensqo SA in Wrexham, UK seeks a GEO Process Engineer to lead site-based process engineering projects, drive continuous improvement, resolve manufacturing issues, and support initiatives at other sites as needed.

You will deliver productivity improvements, lead product and process re-sites, and support scale-up from trials to industrialization, with up to 20% travel across Europe. The role requires a university degree, 3 years in related fields, fluent English, and JMP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace, web-handling, resin-mix, coating, or fiber.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of JMP and understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001 / AS9100) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, mostly within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Drive productivity improvements and process variation reduction efforts.
• Lead major product and process re-sites, ensuring stable transfer and ramp-up.
• Support new product scale-up from trials through to robust industrialization.
• Resolve chronic process issues and customer problems using structured root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective/preventive actions.
• Prepare and execute capital projects, including development of process and equipment specifications and commissioning/start-up of new equipment.
