Job summary
Bridgewater Consultancy UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to lead and deliver geo-environmental projects across the UK. You will manage site investigations, interpret environmental data, prepare detailed reports and support project delivery from start to finish, working both independently and with a project team.
The role includes office-based reporting, site work, and regular travel across the UK, especially Midlands and South West.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' UK geo-environmental consultancy experience.
- Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering Geology, or related field.
- Strong experience supervising site investigations.
- Experience preparing Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 geo-environmental reports.
- Good understanding of contaminated land assessment.
- Ability to develop conceptual site models and interpret laboratory data.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and hold a UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Organise and supervise intrusive ground investigations and fieldwork.
- Prepare Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 geo-environmental reports.
- Review laboratory data and develop conceptual site models.
- Coordinate project delivery, timelines and budgets.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and regulators and mentor junior staff.
