Job summary

Tetra Tech is hiring a Geo-environmental Engineer based in Derby to support design, procurement, supervision and delivery of geotechnical and geo-environmental investigations across the UK.

You will contribute to site characterisation, data collection and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered to high technical standards. A full driving licence and willingness to travel, including overnight stays, are required.

Qualifications

• This role requires a degree in geology, engineering geology or environmental science and practical field experience.
• Proven report writing ability and strong communication skills are essential.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel including overnight stays are required.

Responsibilities

• Support design, procurement, supervision and delivery of geotechnical investigations.
• Contribute to site characterisation, data collection and reporting.
• Produce clear, technically robust reports and interpretative documents.
• Work safely within multidisciplinary teams across UK sites.
