Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Geo-environmental Consultant to deliver engineering geology and geo-environmental services across the north of England, including ground investigation and reporting for several clients across water utilities, development organisations and government bodies.

The role is based in Leeds or Manchester, with a mix of office, site and home working and a hybrid arrangement. Travel to sites is required to support remediation and earthworks delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or MSc in geology or engineering geology with relevant field experience.
• Experience in ground investigation, geotechnical and geo-environmental assessment and reporting.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, procurement, supervision, management and reporting of geotechnical and geo-environmental assessments.
• Produce desk studies, collect site data and prepare factual and interpretative reports.
• Undertake ground gas and groundwater monitoring works.
• Support tendering, project and financial management within multidisciplinary teams or with clients.
