Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP in Birmingham is seeking a motivated Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our growing geo-environmental and geotechnical team. You will deliver ground investigations, reporting and construction support.

You will work with clients, contractors and project teams, develop technical expertise and manage workloads to meet budgets and deadlines.

Qualifications

• A BSc degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
• Experience within a geo-environmental, geotechnical or related consultancy role.
• A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel to sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, supervision and reporting of ground investigations.
• Undertake geo-environmental and geotechnical assessments, including interpretation of ground investigation data.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and factual and interpretative deliverables.
• Support earthworks projects, materials assessments and site validation activities.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, laboratories and regulatory bodies.
• Undertake site visits, site supervision and occasional monitoring works.

The Role

As a Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering projects from investigation through to reporting and construction support. You will work closely with clients, contractors and project teams while developing your technical and professional expertise.
