Job summary

Citizens Advice is seeking an experienced Advice Session Supervisor (ASS) to consolidate skills or a trainee advisor to train to become an ASS within six months. The role requires working across all offices and outreaches in Southwark.

Salary starts at £35,689 on NJC Scale 6 for the first six months during training. Applications from those who can demonstrate recent public-facing advice and casework experience are welcome, with training provided for the supervisory duties within six months.

• Recent experience of giving advice to the public.
• Experience of undertaking the role of Advice Session Supervisor or demonstrate ability to undertake this role with training within 6 months.

If applying as a trainee the starting salary will be on NJC Scale 6 - £35,689 for the first six months whilst undertaking the training.

The post holder will be required to work across all of our offices and outreaches in Southwark according to operational needs.

To Be Successful You Will Need

• Recent experience of giving advice to the public. This should include having undertaken advice casework.
• Experience of undertaking the role of Advice Session Supervisor or to demonstrate the ability to undertake this role with training provided within 6 months of starting
