Job summary

Culina is seeking a General Warehouse Operative for our Tilbury chilled distribution site. You will operate Reach FLTs and manage stock movements in a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring orders are picked and delivered safely on time.

The role runs on a 4 on 4 off shift (06:00–18:00) with a site bonus of up to £5,500 per year. We value reliability, accuracy and teamwork, offering pension and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar warehouse environment is advantageous.
• D1 or D2 Reach FLT Licence and experience is essential for this role.
• Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Confident working to targets and KPI standards in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy.
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and targets.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Can work on a 4 on 4 off shift Pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently in a palletised storage and distribution environment.
• Pick stock and orders from set locations within the chilled warehouse.
• Load and unload wagons or containers in line with site procedures.
• Scan pallets accurately into the correct locations and complete all tasks fully.
• Move, organise and handle goods carefully to maintain product quality and condition.
• Support the smooth flow of stock throughout the warehouse operation.
• Carry out equipment checks and report any faults, damage or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow site safe systems of work, including PPE, walkways and designated areas.
• Work closely with Team Leaders, colleagues and shift teams to ensure clear handovers and operational priorities are met.

We also have a site bonus scheme that rewards colleagues for their performance. This can increase earnings by an additional £2.50 per hour, £5,500 per annum

Full Time Permanent Role

We’re looking for experienced General Warehouse Operative to join our busy chilled distribution operation. You’ll play a key role in keeping stock moving safely and efficiently across a fully palletised warehouse environment.

This is a great opportunity for reliable, safety-conscious MHE / FLT Reach Drivers who are confident working in a fast-paced warehouse and take pride in accuracy, teamwork and high standards.

The role is based within our chilled warehouse, operating at approximately 3°C, so you'll need to be comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment.

What you’ll be doing:
